Well, it looked like rescuing was about to become a New York sport, but I guess people stopped throwing themselves in front of the subway…for the time being. Kudos to those brave people who risked their own lives to save others…after so many years of “bad examples” at the top levels of our society, it’s good to know that REAL people actually DO care about others. It’s also good to see NY accomplishing a turnaround from the callousness of the Kitty Genovese incident. Yeah, I know, the station in my cartoon doesn’t quite look like the IRT (it’d take forever to do a good job with all those steel uprights) but at least I got the graffiti right 🙂 And the NOISE!
