SADDAM CAPTURED

Despite the speciousness of the reasons for war with Iraq and the illegality of conducting that war without the sanction of the international community, it cannot be denied that the Iraqi people are far better off without the tyranny of Saddam Hussein. Congratulations to the troops for having captured him alive that he might be made accountable to the people whom he subjugated for so long. No cartoon I could draw could better lampoon his humiliation more than an image of the man himself in the state to which he has been brought. Thus the squirrels have a night off as I present the captured Saddam on newsprint in charcoal and red and white chalk. Now let us see what it means.
