YAY, SPACE SHIP ONE!

Congratulations to the SpaceShipOne, its designer and crew, for winning the Ansari X Prize
Since first seeing the ship, I was impressed by how much it resembled the ships from the old Flash Gordon comics and serials…so a playful tribute also to Alex Raymond and Dr. Zarkov, who designed the prototype of today’s triumph.
