(WashPost-Reuters) More than 50 percent chance of U.S. recession: Greenspan
Ahhhh, springtime–the perfect time to go out and see the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin. Especially since you have nothing better to do during the day because you’re unemployed. Mr. Laissez-Faire Greenspan, the man who let an idiot do anything he wanted, certain in the knowledge that if things went wrong, he could deny he had anything to do with it in his memoirs, thinks there COULD be a chance of a recession. Hey, none of HIS friends are out of work–except the ones who are in prison for shady dealings, but they were only acquaintances anyway. Mr. Greenspan has come out to endorse John McCain for President. I’d say that was as good a reason as any not to even consider McCain.
