So what does that make us, the unreal America, or the real un-Americans?

So here we are with the last of the Dodos. Which one is the bigger Dodo, Sarah Palin, who thinks that real Americans ‘tolerate’ homosexuals, want victims of incest or rape to have children they had no choice in conceiving, think evolution is just some silly scientific fiction, don’t want blacks, latinos or poor whites to vote, and think that other Americans who disagree with them should be called terrorists and murdered (at least until the librul media found out about it and then she said she wouldn’t tolerate that kind of talk after smiling at it all last week), or John McCain, who chose this bigot as his running mate and now has to make believe he’s “proud” of her so he can ride on HER coattails. DRILL, BABY, DRILL! I always assumed that REAL Americans were not only “tolerant” but proud of our national diversity. Guess I just haven’t spent enough time at the strip mall.

McCain and other Republicans, including Colin Powell, are being described as rebels and mavericks for opposing Bush’s demands for “clarified” interrogation legislation. As everyone knows, if you try to clarify what’s acceptable and what’s not acceptable, you make it much easier to undermine the intent of a law by providing loopholes…just think income taxes. You’d think the IRS would have clearly defined instructions on what is and is not legal, but that doesn’t stop people with good lawyers and accountants to find ways to circumvent the intention of the regulations. THAT’S what Bush’s clarifications are intended to do, provide loopholes for torture. These rebels and mavericks are trying to uphold the rule of law, which the administration doesn’t give a damn about…all they care about is the rule of the economic jungle, the survival of the richest.
