(WashPost) President Wants Anthem Sung in English

(WashPost/Reuters) Rice not upset by US national anthem in Spanish

Ahh, yes, our proud Spanish-speaking El Presidente thinks the national anthem should be sung in English only, but someone forgot to mention that to Dr. Rice. I guess Bush doesn’t need the Hispanic vote anymore, so screw ’em. Of course, I myself would like people to hear the ENTIRE national anthem sometime–there ARE three more stanzas to it, and the first one, the one everyone sings, is a question that remains unanswered if you end it at the normal spot with PLAY BALL. The third stanza, about the fight against tyranny, is probably the most important.
